Power The Future!

"There are some things money can't buy, for everything else there's MasterCard your generosity!"

This familiar slogan, used in one of the greatest ad campaigns of all time, is true about Bais Chabad of West Bloomfield as well.

Unconditional love, genuine friendship, Jewish pride, children discovering their heritage, young adults rediscovering their heritage, the warmth of a Shabbat dinner with old and new friends, engaging Torah study, a festive Simchat Torah dance, a shoulder to lean on in times of pain, an awareness that I am never alone... these are things money can't buy.

But, to help cover the costs of the programs that bring these priceless treasures to life, we are dependent on the generosity and support of people like you. Today, your donation will be doubled and will support all the programs that bring the light and love of Torah and Mitzvot to the community.

How does a Match Campaign work?

During these 30 hours there is a unique opportunity for your generosity to be doubled. Thanks to generous matchers, every dollar you give will be doubled, up to 180k, and will help support all of the activities of Bais Chabad.

What will my donation support?

In the last year alone, Bais Chabad has launched several major projects, including:

  • A brand new beautiful playground
  • A new state of the art Mikva, due to be completed within the next few months. Link: www.MallorWalderMikvah.com
  • A worldwide online study program, under the direction of Bais Chabad's Elya Silfen. Link: www.ChabadAcademy.org
  • Significant upgrade to security, including the presence of a security guard during Shabbat and Holiday services and programs
  • The Mara Israel Jewish education fund, which provides scholarships to children in Jewish day camps, day schools and Hebrew schools and adults in their

JWC provides monthly events to nourish the soul and delight the senses, as well as weekly classes to challenge and stimulate the mind. Women from every background meet to connect, support one another and find inspiration and sisterhood.

Torah Classes

The hallmark of the Bais Chabad Torah Center has always been the Torah study opportunities it has provided. Thousands of people have been (and continue to be) inspired by the wisdom and guidance of Torah, as it is provided by the many expert teachers at Bais Chabad. Classes on Talmud, Kaballah, Jewish Law, Hebrew, Prayer, Ethics, the list goes on. In addition to the classes, we are happy to provide one-on-one learning opportunities with one of our qualified Rabbis or Rebbetzins.

Young Families

Bais Chabad is home to a thriving, growing community of young families. Bais Chabad is committed to assisting young families, spiritually and materially, and providing much needed support and camaraderie through the challenges (and joys) of raising children. Hebrew School of the Arts, Mommy & Me programs, Jewish Birthday Club, Weekly Shabbat Children's Program.

Community Holiday programs

The Sherrill Berman Shofar Factory, Chanukah Wonderland, and Douglas and Barbara Bloom Matzah Bakery highlight the many holiday programs Bais Chabad brings (often alongside wonderful community partners) to thousands across the community. Children create and preserve a joyous connection to the Jewish holidays with these educational, yet thrilling holiday programs.

Support for those in Need

Are you recovering from Surgery, or overwhelmed by a recent Simcha Celebration, or Loss? Bais Chabad will make sure you are not alone during the overwhelming moments of life. A fresh home-made Challah, or – if necessary - a gourmet dinner for the entire family, will be delivered to your home. If you are up for it, we are happy to visit and provide the emotional support you need and deserve.

Bais Chabad also has a visitation program to seniors' as well as a holiday assistance program to local Jewish inmates,  providing holiday needs and support.
