Hero of Israel award

On October 7, 2023, Menachem, together with his brother Elchanan and his nephew Itiel, entered the besieged community of Be'eri to save civilian lives, repeatedly rescuing neighbors under fire. Over many perilous hours, they evacuated nearly one hundred residents; tragically, Elhanan was fatally wounded during the mission.
