The Sara Tugman Bais Chabad Torah Center is passionately dedicated to offering all its members, and to the Detroit Jewish community at large, the opportunity to grow in their knowledge of Judaism and Jewish scholarship.
To that end, Rabbi Silberberg, a world class Torah scholar and author of two books on Halocha and hundreds of articles in scholarly journals, personally offers numerous classes.
He has also assembled a large staff of highly respected Torah teachers who offer nightly Chavrusa style learning, to match each person with a personal learning partner/teacher. Schedule 2010-2011:
SUNDAY
9:15 am: Breakfast and “Keys to Prayer.” Connect to the Divine Consciousness. Transform your prayer experience by studying the literal and metaphysical meaning of the prayers.

10:30 am: The Book of Tanya, authored by Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi, first “Rebbe” of the Chabad dynasty, is the fundamental guide to Chassidic philosophy. It captures the deepest mystical concepts of Torah and translates them into a tangible, comprehensive and inspirational approach to serving the Al-mighty.
MONDAY
10:15 am: Caffeine for the Soul
A discussion on Torah topics at Starbucks. Homemade goods will be served.

7:00 pm: Parsha class L’Dovrei Ivrit (for Hebrew speakers). An overview of the weekly Torah portion with classical commentaries, and readings from “Shulchan Shabbat.”
